Purpose Statements
Our purpose is:
-To help adults develop the ability to read, write, and speak English proficiently.
-To help the public understand the economic and social impact of adult illiteracy.
-To increase community awareness and visibility of adult literacy resources.
-To develop community involvement and business support.
-To coordinate the recruitment, training, and retention of tutors and the
recruitment and retention of learners.
-To develop financial resources to meet adult literacy needs.
